After the briefing you will be transferred to Safaris, a comfortable lodge near the safari town of Arusha for a relaxing first night. On Day2 the safari officially begins with a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park. This park is the best warm-up renowned for its massive elephant herds that roam beneath the wonderful bulbous baobab trees. Tarangire provides an essential contrast to the open plains of Serengeti, offering denser bush and woodland where you can spot lions, giraffes, and various smaller predators before heading deeper into the Northern circuit. Your accommodation for the night will be near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, preparing you for an early start.
Day 3: Ngorongoro crater’s wildlife experience.
Day 3 is dedicated to exploring the wonderful Ngorongoro crater, often known as the “Eighth Natural Wonder of the world,’’ After an early morning descent down the crater walls, you will spend the majority of the day game viewing on the floor of this ancient, massive caldera. Due to the permanent water sources within its walls, the crater supports an incredible concentration of the wildlife, providing the best chance to spot the endangered black rhino, along with the huge prides of lions, abundant hippos and flamingos. This guaranteed Big five opportunity ensures a perfect sighting before the journey takes you into the fluctuating landscape of the migration. After a picnic lunch in the crater, you will ascend and return to your lodge.

Day 5 is a full day exploration of the central Serengeti, allowing you to search for the resident leopards, cheetahs, and large resident buffalo herds. This area acts as an important bridge between the southern plains and then Northern crossing points, providing consistently excellent wildlife viewing, regardless of the migration’s exact location.

You will spend three full days here in a specialized migration-focused camp. These days are entirely dedicated to tracking the main columns of the migration, scouting the riverbanks, and waiting the ultimate wildlife drama; the Mara River crossings. Here the wildebeest face crocodiles and then strong currents in their desperate dash for greener, creating unforgettable scenes of survival. Day 8 finalises with a final en-route game drive before you transfer to the local airstrip for the flight to Arusha
Day 9: Departure to Arusha.
On Day 9 of the safari, you will arrive back in Arusha through your domestic flight from Serengeti.
