Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Tarangire national park.
On the first day of the safari, upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your safari guide from African Vacation Safaris, he will welcome you and then brief you about the safari. After the briefing you will be driven to Tarangire National Park that takes (2 to 3 hours drive). Tarangire national park is famous for its Baobab trees and then its immense population of the East African elephants. And once you reach the park you will start on an afternoon game drive, while focusing on the river and swamps which act as a magnet for wildlife, including large herds of buffaloes, zebras and unique antelopes like the fringe oryx, with the lunch. The day ends with dinner at your tented camp or lodge near the park.
Day 2: Tarangire and transit to Karatu.
You will start Day 2 with an early morning game drive in Tarangire national park to catch predators before retreat from the sun. After a hearty lunch, you will drive southwest, stopping for a final scenic drive through Lake Manyara National Park. This park is known for its lunch forests, large troops of baboons, and the opportunity to spot the elusive tree-climbing lions. In the later afternoon, you will transfer to Karatu area near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Ngorongoro crater descent.
Day 3 is dedicated to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After your early breakfast, you will descend approximately 600 meters (2000 feet) onto the crater floor. This massive caldera acts as a natural enclosure for an exceptional density of the wildlife.
You will spend a full morning game drive, with a dedicated focus on tracking the Black Rhino the crater is one of the most reliable places in Africa to see this endangered species along the lions, elephants, Hippos and then vast herds of the plain game. You will enjoy the picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending the rim and then driving toward Serengeti. Then you will check in your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4&5: Exploring Serengeti National Park.
Your arrival in Serengeti National Park (the land of the endless plains) begins an immersive two-day experience. You will check into your camp in the central Seronera valley region. Day 4 includes an afternoon game drive and Day 5 is a full day game drive dedicated to exploring the central plains, which has the highest concentration of the resident predators.
You will spend time tracking lion prides around the granite kopjes, searching for the stealthy leopard along the river courses, and witnessing the speed of the cheetah. Depending on the time of the year, your guide will position you for the best chance of encountering the Great Wildebeest Migration herds. Later you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 6&7: Final drives and Departure.
Day 6 offers a final morning game drive in Serengeti to capture the plains at their most beautiful hour. After breakfast, you will drive back across the Ngorongoro conservation area toward Arusha, perhaps stopping at the Olduvai Gorge for an optional archaeological tour. Your last night is spent in a comfortable hotel in Arusha near Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport. Day 7 concludes your adventure with an early Kilimanjaro morning transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your international flight home.
