The journey offers you the link Kenya’s legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve with Tanzania’s vast Serengeti National Park focusing on guaranteed Big five sightings and the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley.

Day 1 to 3: Pick up and Experiencing Maasai Mara National Reserve.
On the first day of the safari, your safari begins with a regional flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport (WIL) directly into one of the Maasai Mara’s numerous airstrips. Upon landing, you are immediately immersed in the action as your driver-guide takes you on a short game drive en-route to your camp. The next three days are dedicated to exploring the Mara, famous for its gently rolling, golden plains and then the high concentration of the wildlife, particularly big cats.
During the safari the game drives will be undertaken in the customised 4×4 vehicles, often covering extensive ground, tracking resident lion prides, searching for the leopards in the acacia woodlands, and then utilizing the viewing points of the reserve.
Depending on the season (that is July to October) time will be dedicated to the Mara River, hoping to witness the dramatic high-stakes crossings of the wildebeest and zebra. Even outside of migration season, the Mara’s resident wildlife population is so dense that exceptional sightings are importantly guaranteed. You will also have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village for the cultural experience. Later be transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Cross border and transfer to Serengeti National Park.
On the day four of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast meet your safari guide, and begin your en-route an early morning game drive in the Mara before flying from the local airstrip to a designed transfer point near the Tanzania border. After completing quick immigration formalities, you will be met by your Tanzanian guide and vehicle. The journey immediately resumes with a game drive as you enter Serengeti national park. This fast air transfer saves valuable time, allowing you to settle into your accommodation with in Serengeti to your lodge located near the migratory herd. You will have a brief game drive to begin appreciating the vast size of Tanzania’s endless plains. Later transfer to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 5&6: Tanzania’s endless plains and wildlife.
On the 5th and 6th days of the safari. The next two full days are spent exploring the wonderful Serengeti National Park, the focus shifts entirely tracking the Great Migration and exploring the vastness of the park’s key areas,, such as Central Seronera Valley. Seronera is the heart of the Serengeti’s predator action, known world wide for its resident lion prices, elusive leopards and the perfect habitat for the cheetahs. Depending on the month, your game drives may take you north towards the Mara River or south to the short grass plains (where the wildebeest give birth from January to March).
You will enjoy long, satisfying days of game drives, witnessing the size of the herds, dramatic hunts, and the incredible diversity of the Tanzanian ecosystem. Later transfer to your lodge for dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 7: Final drive and departure.
On the final day of the safari, you will start your day with breakfast. After breakfast you will check out from your lodge and then meet your safari guide and then transfer to the airstrip with an en-route game drive for your flight. You will fly to Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where you will connect with your international flight home. The departure offers a final, aerial experience of the stunning East African landscape concluding an intensive, high-value safari experience.
